SUSAN SMITH

New to the site, Susan Smith is taking part in the Herefordshire Art week; 9 days of inspiration, unique finds, and opportunity to buy direct from the creator - something we're big fans of at Sixteen Online! Susan's work is layered abstract and expressive, often inspired by a sense of place and her rural environment. She will be showing at The Garron Centre in Llangarron so anyone who enjoys going out for an adventure, check out the full list of venues and plan a route here: https://h-art.org.uk/
12th - 18th September
BEVERLEY PERRY and WENDY GOLDING
Artistic Fusion at Sixteen Gallery.
Continuing Sixteen Galleries winning streak, Beverley Perry and Wendy Golding bring their light and colour into the gallery with a group show of paintings and sculptures. Influenced by the nature around her, Beverleys work is a vibrant and playful celebration of texture and light. Wendy's is an organic excursion into abstract expressionism, playing with spontaneous mark-making in response to landscapes or emotions. Their work comes together with two other Gloucestershire artists: Deborah Harrison and Gerald Crittle.
19th - 25th September
CORYNNA JEUDWINE
Two x2 at Sixteen Gallery
Rounding out September at Sixteen is Corynna Jeudwine in a group exhibition with Alistair Young, Helen Norman and Lucy Young bringing together two ceramicists and two collage artists.
Corynna is a textile and monoprinting artist and she employs these techniques using colour and pattern layering and stitching to create her collage style works. This group show looks to be a fantastic conversation of textures and definitely one to check out. Read about all four artists here.
