I am a mixed media artist with an M. A. in fine art. My style of painting is abstract and expressive. I have a fascination for paint in all its forms. I experiment with texture and colour. My process involves the gradual building up of layers.These consist of hand painted collage paper and found surfaces,(maps, fabric,written material). I generally paint on ply board or sometimes canvas. My imagiation is inspired by a sense of place, memory and an evocation of my rural environment .
